HEAT ESCAPE TO OXNARD STATE BEACH PARK
This special summer outing to Oxnard State Beach Park begins with a walk across the beautiful soft grass towards the sand dunes. These sand dunes are only 50 feet from the green grass. At the bottom of the sand dunes is a 200 yard trail with very soft sand. The dogs are so excited walking on the trail because they know that in a few minutes they will be on a large, sandy beach, gazing out at the ocean, watching and listening to the waves roll in and enjoying the smell of a fresh ocean breeze.
Now, on these hot months your dog has an option to get outside and have a wonderful exercise day. Stress and boredom from laying around on hot summer days will disappear.
Our excited dog guests are very safely transported to beautiful Oxnard State Beach Park. The summer afternoon high temperature range is usually 66° to 72°. Ideal weather for a dog to walk, fetch, play and relax in.
This special summer outing begins with a short 15 minute stroll on the beach. Then, we have a nice 20 minute walk on the beautiful groomed grass area. Next, we have individual fetching that is followed with play-time.
We have extended the length of the Oxnard Outings 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes so that our guests can enjoy the outing longer. More time to play —- bouncy balls, personal badminton birdie, agility course (with cones, 3 inch and 9 inch hurdles, 2 dog tunnels). Time for a sandy beach walk & more time to relax. This is an adventurous exercise Outing for your dog, and a wonderful Heat Escape. He / she will return to you so relaxed.

The amazingly beautiful Oxnard State Beach Park has 60 acres of groomed grass with 400 palm trees. 50 yards from the grass park are the sand dunes with a short 200 yard trail to the open beach. Here in Ventura County, leashed dogs are allowed and welcomed on the beach. Our dog guests will stand on the soft, sandy beach for a couple minutes, gazing out at the beautiful ocean, listening and watching the waves roll in, feeling a gentle breeze and smelling fresh, cool, ocean air. We push a special beach stroller cart with balloon tires during this brief and slow, beach stroll. It is available for handicapped or tired dogs. Within 15 minutes, our dog guests will have returned to the groomed, green grass park. We then begin our adventurous walk on the large, open grass among the 400 palm trees.
